Rossborough Healthcare International Limited, the specialist healthcare division of the Rossborough Group and the only local healthcare insurance broker based in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, has strengthened its specialist team with a number of new appointments.
Richard Clarke has now been appointed as the new managing director of the Rossborough Healthcare business, and now leads a team of 12 specialist healthcare advisors across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Mr Clarke had previously looked after Rossborough Healthcare’s Jersey office, and will now assume responsibility for the overall business as well as continuing with client work.
‘This is a very exciting time for our business as we look to take the Rossborough Healthcare business into a new era. We have a dedicated, specialist team here that takes a huge amount of pride in providing healthcare solutions for individual and corporate clients,’ said Mr Clarke.
‘Our business is in a very healthy position and with the significant growth we’ve seen in recent years, it was important that we made some changes to our structure by making some strategic appointments in both Jersey and Guernsey.’
In Guernsey, Louise Le Poidevin has been recruited to further strengthen the healthcare administration team, and in Jersey, two key appointments have been made. Juliette Hamilton joins the team to provide support primarily to individual clients, and Jennifer Gouyet joins to help manage Rossborough Healthcare’s growing corporate client portfolio.
‘As our business continues to grow, these appointments will be crucial in helping us continue to provide a high quality service to our clients and offer more healthcare related services to them. We anticipate making further appointments in both Guernsey and Jersey, over the next 12 months or so’ added Mr Clarke.
As well as providing an expert, independent healthcare insurance broker service to clients, Rossborough Healthcare is also actively involved in promoting health and wellbeing initiatives in the islands.
In Guernsey, Rossborough Healthcare recently partnered with the MSG to put on an event at St Pierre Park, giving members of the public a chance to engage with healthcare professionals about the importance of looking after their muscles, bones and joints.
In Jersey, Rossborough Healthcare’s popular Free Health Check event returned for a third consecutive year on the 15th / 16th July 2016 – offering several hundred islanders the chance to receive a range of specialist health checks and advice on healthy eating and wellbeing.
‘We are primarily a specialist healthcare insurance team and whilst that remains our core business, we are also passionate about encouraging people to take a more proactive approach to their health. Health issues such as heart disease and diabetes present a huge problem to islanders, and as our team continues to grow we hope to put on more events that encourage people to take preventative measures to protect their health,’ added Mr Clarke.
