Ground breaking - Manx Accountancy Apprenticeship

by isleofman.com 30th August 2016

In an innovative move, MPES and DED have partnered together to devise and offer the new Manx Accountancy Apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship scheme is aimed at young Manx people (over 16) who want to work within the accountancy function of a business and study towards a professional qualification (ACCA – Foundations in Accountancy).

Employers can benefit from the scheme by securing an additional resource, who will bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm, whilst receiving financial assistance from the DED towards the apprentice’s training costs and wages.

Eddy Kewin of MPES commented “This is a marvellous new initiative backed by the DED, which will help and benefit local young people and employers alike”.
