Manx Telecom has appointed Wojciech Perdak as Hosting and Managed Networks Senior Infrastructure Architect. He has nine years’ experience in the IT sector as a network technician, network engineer and network architect. In addition to achieving degree qualifications in sociology and computer sciences, he is a Cisco Certified Network, Security and Design Professional; Juniper Certified Associate; Brocade vRouters Professional; IBM certified architect and VMWare Virtualized Networks and NSX Professional.
Wojciech says he was attracted to Manx Telecom by the exciting working environment at the Island’s leading communications company, and the Island’s quality of life, natural beauty, and ‘family friendly environment’ appealed to both him and his wife. He is looking forward to working with the cutting edge IT technologies which Manx Telecom uses for its products and solutions, and to enjoying Island life with his family.
The Hosting and Managed Networks Senior Infrastructure Architect takes the lead on the design and implementation of bespoke managed services platforms for hosting customers, cloud services and internal management systems. Perdak will also co-ordinate, direct, and provide support for enhancements to existing systems and develop new products and solutions – and work closely with sales teams by providing technical input which will help them develop new customer relationships.
He joins Manx Telecom from IBM GSDC Poland where he has worked since 2013 as Advisory IT Architect (Networking). Earlier in his career he was a Cisco Network Engineer at AT&T Inc in the Czech Republic, and prior to joining AT&T he worked in Ireland as a Technical Support Engineer for EMC2.
