Local archer selected to represent GB at European 3D Championships

Lesley Sleight, a member of Isle of Man Archery Club, has been selected to attend the European 3D Championships in Mokrice- Catez, Slovenia at the end of August.  Great Britain are sending a team of 12 archers to the event.

Sleight made her international debut for GB in 2014 coming 12th in the European 3D Championships in Estonia. In 2015 she ranked 13th in the World 3D Championships held in Italy. For the past two years she has been the top ranked British Field Archer and British Field Champion in Ladies American Flatbow.

Lesley said: ‘I am really proud again to be selected and feel honoured to be wearing a GB& NI vest especially in this Olympic year. I’m hoping that I can help the team bring home some medals for Britain."
