Teen's gamble to follow dream paid off

A young Manx entrepreneur who ditched school to set up a business says students should consider the alternative to extending their education. 

Hoping to follow in the footsteps of Sirs Richard Branson and Alan Sugar - both men who dropped dropped their studies to follow a passion for business - is Tom Gough.

The 18-year old from Rasmey is founder of digital creative start-up marketing agency Thomas Patrick.

Since quitting his A-levels last year to pursue his dream full-time, he says he's already found success with a range of UK clients.

Tom says committing to his career was a major risk but it paid dividends:
