Contested Best Local Sales Team at event in London

The Manx Radio sales team scooped bronze at the Arqiva Awards last night.

It was nominated for Best Local Sales Team for a station with a total survey area under two million people.

The Bay in Morecambe was named the winner for its work with local businesses during storm Desmond.

National and regional commercial stations all had representatives at the ceremony at the Roundhouse in Camden - with awards being presented by Ricky Wilson, Tony Blackburn, Patsy Kensit and Matt Cardle.

The Manx Radio sales team - nominated by Business Director John Marsom - wasn't left empty handed, however, as they were presented with a bronze award.
