Food shopping survey deadline today

by isleofman.com 24th May 2016

Drive to boost Manx produce seeks input

Manx consumers have a short time left to take part in a survey of shopping habits, designed to boost the local produce industry.

The online survey asks people how much they spend per week on food and drink, where they shop, how often - and what factors influence their choice.

The anonymous survey, carried out by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture closes on Tuesday 24 May.

It asks for views on the quality and value-for-money of Manx produce. Shoppers can also say whether there are gaps in the market local suppliers could fill.

DEFA minister Richard Ronan says the findings will help the local food and drink sector to expand.
