by isleofman.com 14th May 2016

Race marred by fatal crash

Ivan Lintin won the final race of the NorthWest 200 to secure victories in both Supertwin races.

Neither Saturday’s race nor Thursday’s opener went the full distance with Lintin finishing ahead of Martin Jessopp and Jeremy McWilliams.

Malachi Mitchell-Thomas had been in contention for a podium finish when he was involved in a fatal accident.

The remainder of the race and meeting were subsequently cancelled.
