Kennaugh out in California after heavy crash

Suspected broken collarbone

Manx rider Peter Kennaugh is out of the Tour of California with a suspected broken collarbone.
 
The British Road Race Champion took a hard fall when there was a crash in the peloton inside the final 20 kilometres of stage three.
 
Team Sky rider Peter was obviously in pain and abandoned the race to be taken to hospital.
 
Three other Manx riders are competing in the United States event - Mark Cavendish, Mark Christian and Jake Kelly.
