'Negative' press glare in male-dominated sport

The only woman riding a solo machine at this year's TT races says the media too often pursue a negative line of enquiry when covering motorcycling.

Maria Costello MBE is racing a 650 Kawasaki in the lightweight TT next Wednesday (June 8).

She says racing bikes has given her a lifestyle she could only have dreamed about.

But she says the media usually head for negative aspects of the sport:
