Prima Networks, powered by Microgaming, and Dutch Lottery sign letter of intent

by isleofman.com 1st June 2016
Prima Networks, powered by Microgaming, has signed a letter of intent to be the primary provider of casino and exclusive supplier of poker to the newly merged Dutch gambling organisation, Nederlandse Staatsloterij / De Lotto, once regulations for online gaming permit them to go live.

Prima Networks entered a competitive tender process for this contract in early 2015. Impressed with the software, company culture and focus on building lasting relationships, the Malta-based company was triumphant in securing the contract. Prima Networks will supply Microgaming’s market-leading casino games on desktop and mobile via the Quickfire platform, as well as Microgaming’s well-respected poker software, which is feature-rich and delivers player-friendly tournaments and promotions.

Once integrated with the Quickfire platform, the new Dutch Lottery (its new name will be announced this summer) will also gain access to 3rd party content from over 20 development partners. The entire range of Microgaming and development partner content is accessible through a single integration.

Loraine Schoevers, Director of Prima Networks, commented: “Following a competitive and in-depth tender process, we were delighted to be chosen by Nederlandse Staatsloterij / De Lotto as their preferred casino and poker supplier. We are well versed in regulated markets and working with state lotteries, and winning this contract strengthens Prima Networks’ and Microgaming’s position in the European regulated market. While we wait for the Dutch market to open, we’re busy getting the bespoke solution for the newly merged organisation ready, for when we can launch.”

Visit Microgaming and the Prima Networks team at the iGaming Super Show in Amsterdam, 8-9 June 2016, at stand A16.
