SMP Partners appoint Development & Licensing Manager

by isleofman.com 31st May 2016
SMP Partners has appointed Jade Allcock as Manager of eGaming Development and Licensing.

With almost a decade of industry experience, including as Head of Digital and Affiliate Marketing for a lottery operator, Jade adds further strength and expertise to the team at SMP eGaming. In addition to completing a three-year Diploma in International Marketing Management, Jade is currently sitting her final examinations for the completion of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

As Manager of eGaming Development and Licensing, she is responsible for leading the firm’s international gaming clients through the preparation and submission of complex licence applications across multiple international jurisdictions. Working with departmental and Group-wide specialists, Jade will project-manage the entire licensing process, drafting comprehensive business plans and financial projections, as well as liaising with licensing bodies and third party suppliers to build coherent and robust licensing propositions.

SMP eGaming was launched in February by SMP Partners, to build on the group’s extensive industry experience and substantial international client base. Over six years as a major name in the industry, and a dominant force behind the growth of the Isle of Man’s gaming sector, SMP Partners has established an unrivalled reputation which has formed a strong foundation for SMP eGaming.

Group Director David Hudson said: ‘In just the few months since SMP eGaming was launched, we have become established as a leading specialist gaming consultancy, with a strong team of professionals providing services which continually develop and adapt to the rapidly changing international gaming market.

‘Jade’s role will further enhance those services as she works with colleagues to manage often complex licensing requirements. It is commonplace within the industry today for eGaming operators to hold licenses across many jurisdictions. This requires objective and unbiased advice as well as a comprehensive understanding of multi-jurisdictional licensing and regulatory compliance. Jade brings additional skills to our already highly experienced teams which will augment the quality and level of service we deliver to clients around the world.’

He added: ‘Establishing SMP eGaming as an independent consultancy was a natural next step for SMP Partners after advising and guiding more than 50 gaming operators and software providers, established and early stage, through the licensing process. It was also the best response to the growing complexities of operating within the international gaming market, ensuring we are best-placed to serve the needs of international gaming companies as they come to terms with the changing regulatory landscape in which they have to operate and the increasing focus on compliance and regulation.’
