Equiom continues to be among ‘Top 25 Trust Companies’

by isleofman.com 24th May 2016
Leading trust and corporate services provider Equiom has been named in eprivateclient’s ‘Top 25 Trust Companies’ for the fourth consecutive year.

The prestigious list, which recognises the most successful trust companies throughout the UK and offshore islands, is compiled annually from a survey of more than 100 firms.

Global CEO Sheila Dean commented: ‘It is testament to the dedication demonstrated by our professional teams across five offices that Equiom has once again been recognised as a top trust company. Equiom is an ambitious business which has experienced phenomenal international growth during the past year. I believe the key to our success is a continued focus on clients and emphasis on delivering the best service, expertise and most compliant protection of their wealth, wherever they are in the world.’

Based on 2015 data, the findings revealed sector-wide rises in the average number of client-facing directors, staff and fee income compared with the previous year. This is attributed to the number of large independent private equity-backed trust companies acquiring smaller firms. The survey also highlighted the move away from the trust sector by the larger banks.

Equiom has been invited to join representatives from the Top 25 Trust Companies at a champagne reception in London on June 27.
