WHIreland Wealth Management in the Isle of Man secures prestigious award

by isleofman.com 16th May 2016
The Isle of Man office of wealth manager WHIreland has been named ‘Best International Clients Team’ at the Wealth Adviser Awards 2016.

The prestigious title is recognition of the office’s international offering, which is designed to combine the benefits of superior client service with the advantages of investing in a highly rated and regulated top-tier International Business Centre.

Coming just two years after the firm established its international presence in the Isle of Man, it is a significant achievement and acknowledgement of the impressive growth in the Company’s international client base.

Richard Killingbeck, Group CEO said:

‘This is another strong endorsement of our Isle of Man-based team and a testament to the hard work they have undertaken in a short space of time to establish WHIreland Wealth Management as a premier provider of investment management services to the local community and internationally.’

The annual Wealth Adviser Awards recognise excellence among wealth managers and service providers from across the UK and its Crown Dependencies in a range of categories covering the entire wealth management sector.

Nominees, which include some well-known names, are judged on a peer review basis, with Wealth Adviser readers, including institutional and high net worth investors, managers and other industry professionals, voting online.

Will Corrin, Managing Director of WHIreland (IOM), said:

‘We have had a hugely successful first two years which has seen excellent growth in our local and international client base, and contributing to a significant growth in the Group’s discretionary assets under management.

‘It is extremely gratifying to have that work and success recognised with this prestigious award, especially as it was voted for by high net-worth private investors and other industry professionals. This is an exciting time in our strategic development of accelerating the growth of our discretionary assets under management, but we’re operating in a crowded marketplace and our investment performance and the team’s commitment to high levels of service have won us this award.’

WHIreland is a long-established, London-quoted financial services firm with a presence across the UK and internationally in the Isle of Man. The establishment of the Isle of Man business launched the firm’s international presence and today its clients range from a minimum of ?250,000 upwards, across multi-currency discretionary portfolios, with the average client portfolio size in excess of ?500,000.
