Estera, formerly Appleby Fiduciary Business, has been announced as sponsor of the Isle of Man Business Network annual ball drinks reception.
The black tie ball, a highlight in the IOMBN’s events calendar, takes place at the Palace Hotel in Douglas on 20 May and will be attended by leading members of the Island’s business community. The evening will begin at 7pm with the Estera-sponsored drinks reception at Tahiko, then guests will head to dinner where the speaker will be former Managing Director of bmibaby David Bryon.
The Isle of Man Business Network is a not for profit organisation, run by volunteers. They provide members with an opportunity to meet like-minded people and expand their network. They hold a variety of learning and networking events which encourage self-development through training, education and mutual support. Their events are available for people who work in any industry and to people at all stages of their careers.
Vice Chair Richard Smith said: ‘The annual black tie ball is the highlight of our social calendar, and I am delighted to welcome Estera as sponsor of the drinks reception which will start proceedings. The IOMBN aims to provide members with an opportunity to meet like-minded people from the professional world in the Isle of Man, and the Estera pre-dinner drinks is an excellent opportunity for members to chat informally, catch-up with old friends and make new contacts.’
Sean Dowling, Managing Director of Estera in the Isle of Man added: ‘The Isle of Man Business Network reflects many of the values of Estera, such as leadership and integrity, and shares our ambition of playing a major role in the development of the Island’s business community and economy. We are pleased to be supporting the IOMBN through sponsorship of this event, and hope it is the start of a long partnership between Estera and the Isle of Man Business Network.’
Tickets for the annual ball, which is open to members and non-members, are available from www.eventbrite.com/e/isle-of-man-business-network-annual-black-tie-ball-tickets-24082894586.
