William Dunlop is a last minute entry to the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races, which will be taking place on Friday, Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday 27th, 28th & 30th May.
William has accepted a ride on the Davies Motorsport 350cc Honda in the Manx Environmental Services Junior Classic Race, and will be up against fellow Davies Motorsport Honda mounted rider and previous winner of the race, Alan Oversby from Bolton-le-Sands.
Other previous winners of the Junior Classic, who will be looking for a share of the spoils are ‘veterans' Bill Swallow and Paul Coward who will also be renewing the ‘local’ Yorkshire rivalry!
2015 race winner, Mike Hose will also be hoping for a repeat performance on the Ripley Land Honda and add to his 13 victories already achieved on the Billown Course at the Classic Races.
Amongst other ‘classic’ specialists with the aim of taking the chequered flag first are Ewan Hamilton, Barry Davidson, Jamie Coward, Steve Elliott and James Cowton - all Honda mounted.
The eight-lap race will certainly be one full of expectations and on past experience not one for the feint-hearted!
