Corinthians seal fifth spot in Premier League

It will be a Manx old firm clash in the Ascot Hotel Junior Cup Final.

That’s after holders Peel saw off the spirited challenge of Combination Two side Braddan in the semi-finals on Saturday.

A late show from the westerners secured a 5-2 victory to set up a showpiece with Rushen at the Bowl a week today.

It took two late goals to settle the tie with Greg Kelly, Andy Quirk, Aaron Costain and Will Morris (two) finally sealing victory.

Jeff Murphy, plus an own goal, had kept Braddan in the hunt.

Corinthians sealed fifth spot in the Canada Life Premier League with a 5-0 home victory over Ramsey, courtesy of goals from defender Callum Campbell (two), Sean Doyle (two) and Kane Ridings.
