Portfolio faith placed in wealth managers
Isle of Man-based wealth management firm WHIreland has been appointed by the Manx government to manage two of its investment portfolios.
The company, which opened an office in the Island in 2014 and now employs eight staff, is to be discretionary investment manager on two fund allocation mandates for a fixed five year term.
The contract was awarded after what the firm describes as a 'lengthy and rigorous' tender process, managed by government's Procurement Services arm.
WHIreland Group CEO Richard Killiingbeck said: "This is a strong endorsement of the Isle of Man office and the WHIreland Group."
He added: "The appointment to manage two mandates gives us a sound platform, to continue the growth of our international business and further strengthen our Isle of Man team."
