Estera Aviation, formerly Appleby Aviation, will attend Europe’s largest aviation event, the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), next month.
Held at the Palexpo in Geneva from 24 to 26 May, EBACE is a key event in the aviation calendar and an opportunity for leading figures in the industry from around the world to meet and do business. This year it is expected to attract more than 13,000 visitors, with more than 500 exhibitors attending.
Alongside a static display of 50 business aircraft, there will be talks, presentations and education sessions held throughout the three-day event.
Brian Johnson, Estera’s Technical Director of Aviation, Client Director Sandra Georgeson and Manager Aidan McCowliff will represent Estera’s Isle of Man office.
Brian Johnson said: “EBACE is a key event for the aviation industry, where significant innovations and updates to the industry are discussed. It is a valuable opportunity to meet representatives from throughout the aviation industry, including major corporate aircraft manufacturers, international business leaders and government officials. It is also a chance to meet clients, and introduce the new offering from Estera Aviation.”
“Estera is a newly-launched brand, but the business boasts a wealth of experience and expertise in all aspects of fiduciary work and has a very strong offering in the competitive aviation industry.”
Simon Williams, Isle of Man Director of Civil Aviation added: “The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry continues to go from strength-to-strength and we have now registered more than 850 aircraft - with 467 aircraft active on the Register - after only nine years in operation.”
“This success is very much down to the relationship the Registry has with the Island’s aviation sector, and with so many of them represented at EBACE this year we will be able to truly showcase this aviation expertise on a global stage.”
Estera, formerly Appleby Fiduciary Business, completed its MBO from the Appleby Group in December 2015. Drawing on the expertise of its 350-strong team across 10 offshore jurisdictions, Estera delivers customised fiduciary and administration services to its client base of global corporations, private companies, high-net-worth individuals and investment funds.
