Mylchreest’s Motors have kindly donated one of their ‘hospitality’ caravans to the Southern 100 Marshals Association to use as a Marshals Office during the three races held on the Billown Course annually.
On handing over the ‘Unit’ David Mylchreest said: The Southern 100 Marshals have used the ‘hospitality unit’ as an office for their Marshals for a number of years now, so it was an obvious choice to donate the unit to the Association now it is no longer required by the Mylchreest’s Group.’
At the ‘hand-over’ at Southern 100 Racing’s Club HQ, Chief Marshal, Dave Ali thanked both David and James Mylchreest for their generosity saying: ‘The Unit has been a valuable asset to the Southern 100 Marshals, not only for Signing-On Marshals, but as a base prior to and during the races.
‘The Marshals Association and the Southern 100 are extremely grateful to David and James Mylchreest for their kind gesture and can be assured that the unit will be appreciated by all the marshals involved with the Pre & Post TT Races and of course the Southern 100.’
