Colby suffer promotion blow

Max at the double for Gymns

The promotion battle in JCK Division Two took another twist on Saturday.

That’s after Colby were held to a 4-4 draw at home by Pulrose.

It was a massive blow for the home side who may now miss out to either Castletown or Braddan.

Steven Kelly, Adam Fretwell, Ashley Blake and Jim Collett were on target for the hosts.

But Barry English, Dale Walker and Peter Dunn (two) found the net for the visitors who are finishing the season in fine form to earn a fine point.

Max Stokoe continues to be prolific in front of goal and he grabbed another two for Gymns as they ran out 3-0 home winners over Douglas Royal.

Gareth Gawne got the other for the hosts.

A Scott Kermeen double and further goals from Charlie Harrison and Gary Smith fired Foxdale to a 4-1 home win over Malew.
