Right royal fuss over fleet addition

An Island taxi firm has announced a new addition to its fleet - to be named in honour of the Lord of Mann.

'Elizabeth', a Mercedes S-Class, is the latest car to begin service with The Lady Chauffeurs.

The all-female cab crew picked the name in honour of Her Majesty's 90th birthday today (21 April) and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.

The announcement also coincides with news that the firm has doubled in size, having recently employed four new drivers to expand TLC's coverage of the Island.

The new recruits have a background in serving air passengers, as cabin crew.
