The Isle of Man Aircraft Registry has awarded a 10 year contract to aviation safety consultancy company Baines Simmons to provide ongoing aviation support services.

The contract secures additional technical expertise to supplement the Isle of Man team and ensure the continuity of the high service and regulatory standards customers of the Registry have come to expect. Baines Simmons will provide flexibility for the growth and development of the Aircraft Registry over the next 10 years, continuing the availability of additional capacity to undertake surveys anywhere in the world and meet surges in demand.

‘The highly specialist contract to provide Aviation Support Services to the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry went out to formal tender in 2015. The Isle of Man Government’s Treasury led a rigorous process which saw the numerous companies who submitted a tender undergo a very detailed, thorough and objective assessment. Baines Simmons is to be congratulated for their successful tender following months of hard work.
