Manx Telecom has appointed Melanie Tymm as Marketing Specialist. She has over 10 years’ experience in marketing and brand and product management, including managing PR and media campaigns, product launches, brand strategy and search engine optimization for online marketing. Melanie joins Manx Telecom from Thea Pharmaceuticals in the UK where she worked for over three years as Product Manager.

In her role with Manx Telecom she will support the Marketing Communications Manager and the sales and marketing teams in creating, co-ordinating and executing B2C and B2B marketing campaigns. She will also develop and deliver digital communications to support business objectives, including website, social media, and email campaigns. In addition, the role of Marketing Specialist includes analysing and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and helping to support a wide range of Manx Telecom sponsorships, and charity, consumer and business events.

Commenting on her appointment, Melanie said: “I’m delighted to be joining the marketing team at Manx Telecom and extremely excited to be getting involved in the creation and execution of the various marketing campaigns across a wide variety of channels. Having spent a small amount of time on the Island in the past few years, I am looking forward to fully embracing Island life personally, at the same time as being part of a trusted and enterprising business.”

Melanie has gained several Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications, including a Professional Certificate and a Professional Diploma in marketing, and CIM qualifications in Agency Briefing and Management, and Thinking and Creativity Skills.
