Braddan reach last four

by isleofman.com 16th April 2016

Goal inside nine seconds!

The line-up is now known for the Ascot Hotel Junior Cup quarter-finals.

That’s after the remaining first round matches were settled on Saturday.

Goals from Graham Duggan and Martin Cowin, plus an own goal, fired Douglas Athletic to a 3-0 success over Colby. They will meet Old Boys in the last eight.

Elsewhere, Anthony Price got the only goal in the first half as Ramsey Youth Centre won at Douglas Royal to set up a clash with Rushen.

One team has already reached the semi-finals after Braddan were 4-0 home winners over Gymns in the sole quarter-final tie of the day.

Geoff Murphy was on target but Mikey Hutton stole the show with a treble, including the opener inside nine seconds!
