Success at Scottish 3D Archery Champion for local couple

Lesley and Rodger Sleight from Isle of Man Archery Club competed in the Scottish 3D Archery Championships organised by Border Archery. 150 Archers attended hailing from as far as field as Germany, Austria and Sweden. The format for the shoot was 40 shooting lanes with either 2 or 3 targets to shoot. Over the 2 days 200 3D targets were shot.

Lesley won the Ladies American Flatbow Class with a score of 1040. The score was higher than the winners of both the Ladies Barebow and Hunting Tackle classes which was a great achievement. Rodger Sleight shot well and came 8th in the Mens Hunting Tackle Class.
