Kneen leading junior
Alan Wade was the winner of Sunday’s Sadler Agricultural Supplies DTL Championship at Meary Veg.
A strong head wind made the targets difficult to judge but it didn’t stop Wade from pipping John Moore by a solitary point.
After close scoring between a number of shooters, Jack Kneen junior scored 59 in the fourth and final round to finish in equal seventh place with Kiwi Glen Catlin on 246.
Sixth place went to Nigel Kelly on 252 with Steven Craine in fifth place on 255, Peter Kelly was fourth on 258 and Marty Kneen third on 265.
The runners-up spot went to John Moore on 269.
Heh hit the best round of the day a 25 straight for 73 points but was pipped to the title by one point by Wade on 270.
