This year's event held in Bulgaria

A number of Manx firms are representing the Island in Bulgaria today (April 11) for the 2016 Global Lottery Messenger Forum.

The event is taking place at the Hilton Hotel in Sofia.

It's being organised by local payments consultancy Counting House and is attended by more than a hundred of the world's lottery messenger industry seniors.

Island-based firms attending include Annexio, Equiom, Boston, Isle of Man Post and the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.

They'll discuss topics such as increasing player value, lottery as an acquisition tool and jackpot payouts.

The Managing Director of My Lotto 24 Limited and Head of the Gaming and Entertainment Law Department at Velchev and Co will be among the event's guest speakers.
