Duggan and Speed give southerners surprise win

Colby moved to fourth in the Regency Travel Women’s League on Sunday.

That’s after they defeated nine player Gymns at Station Road.

After a goalless first half, 16 year-old debutante Zoe Duggan opening the scoring for the southerners.

Despite their numerical disadvantage, the Tromode side equalised five minutes later.

However, Amy Speed scored the all-important winner to secure the hosts’ third league win of the season.
