Equiom’s expert aviation team will again exhibit at Europe’s largest aviation event, the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE).
Taking place at Geneva’s Palexpo on 24-26 May 2016, EBACE will welcome key decision makers from the global aviation industry to meet and transact business. More than 13,000 guests and up to 500 exhibitors are expected to attend.
Grant Atchison, Equiom’s Head of Aviation, will lead an experienced team which will promote Equiom’s aviation services from its exhibition stand (number B050). The team will include Steve Cain, VAT Director, Edward Leigh, Senior Aviation Manager and Andrew Wilson, VAT and Customs Manager.
Grant commented: ‘EBACE is the major aviation event of the year, providing us with a platform to share our expertise and conduct business with intermediaries from all over the world. This year a key topic for discussion will be the new European Customs Code which comes into effect on 1 May 2016. Many people are still unaware of the significant consequences this will have on the movement of aircraft into and within Europe and it could come as a shock to some. Our expert team, which includes VAT and Customs specialists, will be on hand at the show to provide guidance on how best to remain compliant to the Code.’
EBACE is jointly hosted each year by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), the leading association for business aviation in Europe, and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the leading voice for the business aviation industry in the United States.
Equiom Aviation provides VAT-efficient ownership structures and registration services, Customs Warehousing facilities and assists with temporary or permanent EU aircraft importations. To arrange to meet one of the team at the show email sophiecampbell@equiomgroup.com.
