Title no 20 for Tromode club
Bacchas A have won the top flight men’s title for a 20th time.
They clinched the PWC Men’s Premier League with an 11-0 romp against Ramsey A on Saturday.
Andy Whiting hit four, Alex Bell a hat-trick, Chris Whiting and Tony Bentley Roberts grabbed one each and captain Jamie Brown scored a brace.
After sealing a sixth successive title, he said their success was a real team effort (audio file below).
Elsewhere, Vikings A beat Valkyrs A for the second time in three days with a 4-1 triumph.
Doubles from Andy Harding and Alex Birch meant Greg Miller’s strike was just a consolation.
