Chamber discusses TT expansion potential

Fresh options for growing the Isle of Man TT brand worldwide will be discussed across the Island in the coming months.

Officials from the Chamber of Commerce have been meeting executives from Vision Nine, the UK company tasked with developing commercial prospects for the TT and Classic TT festivals by the Department of Economic Development.

A long-term strategy drawn-up by the London-based events marketing company, to grow the economic value the motorsport events to the Island, will be put to Tynwald for approval this month.

Meanwhile, Vision Nine representatives will be meeting a range of interested groups Island-wide to gain a better understanding of the TT's potential.

The Chamber of Commerce underlined the importance of involving local companies and suppliers along the way, and stated they supported the Vision Nine ethos of 'evolution not revolution'.
