First local victory for new team

Tom Mazzone was the winner of the Roy Killey Memorial Road Race in wet conditions in the north of the Island yesterday.

The 22-year-old Pedal Heaven rider finished the race in a time of 1:41:50.

It's his first on-Island win in his new team's colours.

The next eight finishers were all from Manx Viking Wheelers, headed by Robin Garry, who came second, and third-placed Owen Dudley.

Garry was given the same time as Mazzone, while Dudley was a second behind.
