London launch for new venture
Island corporate service provider SMP Partners has launched a dedicated, in-house eGaming consulting company.
SMP Group says the new venture will offer 'objective and unbiased' advisory services, multi-jurisdictional licensing, compliance and operational support to established and fledgling eGaming operators and software providers.
Group director David Hudson said the firm, which has serviced the industry for six years, needed to adapt to a rapidly changing worldwide gaming market.
He said: 'We have achieved a great deal in the last six years, but there are major changes taking place in the international gaming market and it is essential for our clients that we provide eGaming services and consultancy without borders.'
The new company was unveiled in front of more than 100 clients in the Shangri-La Hotel in the Shard building in London, ahead of the ICE Totally Gaming conference in February, while leading figures of the industry were gathered in the capital.
