Chris Stott chairs panel discussion

Isle of Man space sector firm ManSat has taken a key role at a conference held in the world famous Silicon Valley in California.

Chief Executive Officer Chris Stott took the chair for a panel discussion in the SmallSat Symposium.

As suggested by the name, the sold-out gathering was aimed at smaller companies in the satellite business.  

Subjects covered ranged from how best to grow businesses to which funding vehicles are most likely to invest in the sector.

Chris Stott's wife Nicole is a former NASA astronaut and has spent time on the International Space Station.
