New team dig in at Glen Wyllin

The new operators of Glen Wyllin campsite have been announced by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.

Business partners James Hooper, Leanne Gilman, Tracey Dentith and Michael Dentith have been awarded a 21-year lease.

A traditional campsite, accommodating tents, caravans and motorhomes will be run by the group - and this year they'll also offer catering.

Camping pods and a family log cabin are among additions the new operators would like to make.

The site will be open as normal from 2 April and existing bookings will be honoured.

Michael Commissioners operated the facility for 23 years until earlier this month, when the authority handed responsibility for the campsite back to DEFA.
