PwC hosts economic crime seminar

Event puts cyber crime under scrutiny

A seminar about crimes affecting businesses will get underway this afternoon – with particular focus on economic and cyber crime.

Adjusting the Lens on Economic Crime is hosted by PwC and takes place at the Manx Museum in Douglas from 4.30pm

Mark Anderson, a partner in forensic services at the firm will give a talk looking into findings from PwC’s biennial global economic crime survey.

Among other things, the study found record levels of cybercrime against companies – with 32 per cent saying they’d been affected by it in the past two years.
