Running Festival hit by travel disruption again

by isleofman.com 24th March 2016

Advise to travel from Heysham tonight

It's estimated around 150 Easter Festival of Running competitors were booked on tomorrow's Steam Packet sailing from Liverpool.

With the Manannan unlikely to be back in action by then the advice on the event facebook page is to transfer bookings to the Friday 2.15am overnight crossing from Heysham.

Tomorrow afternoon's sailing will mean runners will not arrive in time for the 10K race in Port Erin.

Organisers of the festival have asked that priority is given to competitors using the PEFR booking code.
