Fox win's men's Peel Hill Race

Amelia Pettitt is in pole position going into the final round of the Isle of Man Easter Festival of Running, sponsored by Celton Manx.

After also winning the women’s 10km road race on Good Friday, Pettitt is favourite to clinch the overall championship ahead of the 5km finale on Douglas Promenade on Easter Day.

The leading Manx competitor in the hill race was Northern Athletics Club athlete Nikki Boyde who finished in 23rd position.

Cambridge University student Oliver Fox won the men’s Peel Hill race in a time of 21 minutes 46 seconds, finishing 16 seconds ahead of Ben Stevenson (Edinburgh Uni) and Andrew Ó Donnghaile (Cambridge).
