Douglas tennis coaching at improved facilities

by isleofman.com 21st March 2016
Douglas Lawn Tennis Club which was reformed in 2014 in Kensington Road, continues to improve its facilities. Signature Electrical has kindly installed a floodlight token meter so members can play for longer outside club sessions. Windbreakers and a table tennis table in the club are some of the other new features.

A 5-week coaching course for beginners and improvers will commence on Tuesday 29th March from 6-7pm and will be delivered by an LTA qualified coach Karen Faragher. The cost is ?20 for the course or ?5 per session. Rackets and balls are provided.

New members are welcome especially now as the season is starting 1st April. Just turn up and try one of the club sessions for free either on Tuesdays 7-9pm or Sundays 10am-1pm.

To register for the course phone Karen on 472413. For more information contact Tania on 302642 or email douglastennis@manx.net.
