by isleofman.com 21st March 2016
IOM Lawn Tennis Association will be running Easter Tennis camps for juniors on outdoor courts of Douglas Lawn Tennis Club on Kensington Road and Ramsey Tennis Club at Ramsey Grammar School. The camps are an ideal chance for youngsters currently attending Manx Youth Games tennis training to see whats it’s like playing on real tennis courts. Each session will comprise a mixture of footwork drills and technique skills. For older age groups there will also be match play and individual one-to-one tasks and advice from LTA qualified coaches which regular club players will no doubt benefit from.

Douglas sessions will run on 28th, 29th March and 4th April 11am-12pm for group 1 (age 4-9). Girls sessions (group 2) age 7-16 are on 28th March and 4th April, boys sessions (group 3) age 7-16 on 29th March and 4th April, all 12-1.30pm. Cost group1 is ?5/session, ?9/two sessions or ?12 for all three. Group 2 and 3: ?7/session or ?12 for both dates.

Ramsey camps will take place on 30th March and 5th April. 2-hour mini red and orange ball sessions group 1 (age 4-9) will be 11am-1pm and group 2 orange and yellow ball (age 9-18) 1.30-3.30pm. Cost for all groups is ?8 per session or ?14 for both.
