Reminders first. Have you entered the club’s Sport Relief tournament on Sunday 20 March? If not get your name to Jackie Russell quickly as there will probably be a limit on numbers. Registration is at 9.45 and play commences at 10am prompt. Entry fee is ?10 which includes a bacon or sausage bap and tea/coffee or soft drink This is a fun event for seniors and yellow ball juniors – similar to the President’s Day Senior/Junior event in September. All proceeds to Sport Relief a very worthy charity. To enter e-mail jackierussell@manx.net

A reminder also that membership fees are due for renewal by 31 March. Memberships not renewed by 1 April will be deemed lapsed. If you haven’t picked up your form from the clubhouse yet please do so soon and save the club a huge bill on postage.

Albany Nedgroup Investments Junior Open will be held from 16 – 23 April. Entry forms have been e-mailed to all junior and mini tennis members and forms are also available in the clubhouse. Events are: 8 & under (Red ball) mixed on Saturday 16th 2pm-4pm ; 9 & under (Orange ball) boys and girls Saturday 16th 10am –2pm ; 10 & under (Green ball) mixed on Sunday 17th 2pm – 5pm . 12 & under mixed singles and 18 & under mixed singles ALL WEEK from 16th April. Players must be available for their first round matches and FINALS DAY 23 APRIL 2016. This is a Grade 4 LTA Sanctioned Tournament. The event is open to juniors from all the Island clubs and visiting players. Tournament referee is Ian Watson and if you have any queries contact Ian on ianwatsonpts@manx.net or mob. 496293. Entry can be e-mailed to Ian or placed in the clubroom postbox.
