International trust and corporate services provider the Equiom Group has been shortlisted for ‘Trust Company of the Year’ in the prestigious Magic Circle Awards for the third year running.
This accolade is enhanced by the nomination of the Group’s Global Chief Executive Officer, Sheila Dean, for ‘Woman of the Year’ and the Managing Director of its Hong Kong business, Debby Davidson, for ‘Trustee of the Year’. Equiom won the title of ‘Trust Company of the Year’ at last year’s awards.
The news follows Equiom’s success at the Citywealth IFC Awards earlier this year, where Equiom Isle of Man was named ‘Trust Company of the Year – Isle of Man’ and its Guernsey and Hong Kong offices were runners-up in their respective categories.
The high-profile Magic Circle Awards are held annually in May and recognise the excellence of individuals and companies in the global private wealth sector. The shortlists are published on the Citywealth website and voting is now open to industry peers until 20 April 2016.
Sheila said: ‘Being nominated for Trust Company of Year for the third year running is an astounding achievement for Equiom and evidence that the business continues to hold its market-leading position in the industry. This is testament to our teams across the Group that continue to deliver excellence in all areas of client service. I would like to congratulate Debby for her shortlisting which continues Equiom’s success in Hong Kong following the Citywealth IFC Awards earlier this year.’
The winners will be announced at a prestigious dinner in London on 12 May, which is expected to attract more than 400 guests representing 140 organisations, including leading law firms, trust companies, family offices, tax advisers, investment managers and bankers in the wealth sector to recognise the achievements of the industry during the past year.
