Steve Murray Remembered

Southern 100 Racing were saddened to learn of the passing of Steve Murray on Monday 22nd February 2016.

Steve was a regular competitor at the Southern 100, making his debut in 1956 and continued racing each year up to and including 1976.

The popular Chester rider first rode Norton machinery, also rode AJS, Matchless, Honda, Bultaco and latterly Yamaha’s during his 20-year career on the Billown course.

Southern 100 Racing and all involved with the Billown Course pass on their condolences to Steve’s family and friends at this sad time. R.I.P.
