Equiom’s eGaming expert to speak at iGaming Asia Congress

by isleofman.com 1st March 2016
Equiom’s Head of eBusiness, Peter Greenhill, will take a prestigious speaking slot at iGaming Asia in Macau next month.

Taking place from 21 to 23 March at the Grand Hyatt Macau Hotel, the congress is Asia's leading social casino and mobile gaming event. It attracts delegates from all over the world with an interest in Asia’s gaming industry, including sports betting, online casino, lottery, social gaming and mobile gaming operators.

Peter will lead a panel discussion entitled ‘Jurisdictional Opportunities in Europe’ on Tuesday 22 March with representatives from Alderney, Malta and the Isle of Man. The panel will discuss how a company decides where to be licensed and the comparative advantages of each jurisdiction.

Peter commented: ‘Taking a multi-jurisdictional approach to licensing has become the standard for the world’s leading operators and the smaller gaming companies are following suit. In each case, the balance between cost and projected profit from each new jurisdiction is key. With offices and expertise spanning several jurisdictions, Equiom’s network is ideally placed to help companies set up their headquarters in the correct location and gain licences wherever needed. I am looking forward to discussing the relative benefits of the multi-jurisdictional approach at the congress, alongside leading figures from the industry.’

Peter will be joined at the congress by colleague Severino Sumulong, Director – Business Development, who is based at Equiom’s Hong Kong office. Peter and Severino will be available to answer questions and provide advice to eGaming companies; to arrange a meeting at the event they can be contacted via Equiom’s website www.equiomgroup.com.
