The Association of Corporate Service Providers’ 12.30pm seminar on Tuesday March 22 examining how to avoid the pitfalls of liability and regulatory enforcement is fully booked, but a repeat session has been arranged later that day at 2.30pm.
Sponsored by DQ Advocates the seminar is set against the background of a step change in the regulatory environment across Crown Dependencies, which is seeing a rise in enforcement actions being taken against directors and key individuals.
The session will be with DQ Advocates’ managing director Tom Maher and head of regulatory and compliance Sinead O’Connor. They will share with delegates their experiences of and learning points from recent cases and will look at what TCSPs can expect should they become involved in enforcement action and what steps can be taken in terms of preparing corporate governance documentation ahead of any subsequent scrutiny.
The seminar will be at the Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas with registration at 2pm for a prompt 2.30pm start. Subject to the number of questions and contributions from the audience it is anticipated the event will finish around 3.30pm.
This seminar is free to staff of member firms and associate members of the ACSP.
