Microgaming demoed its award-winning VR Roulette game to the public at ICE Totally Gaming 2016. Housed in an ultra-futuristic CRYO lab, made specially for the event, the reality-altering prototype was designed to study the immersive potential of 3D technology in the online gaming industry. Transporting players to a roulette table in outer space, VR Roulette uses the Oculus Rift DK 2 headset with Leap Motion 3D Controller to track a player’s hand movements and then project them into the 3D world.
In this video, Microgaming discusses its role in pioneering the future of online gaming through advances in virtual reality, augmented reality and wearable tech.
