The ICE Totally Gaming expo at London’s Excel saw significant interest in the Isle of Man Government stand which included Manx Telecom, hosting provider to the world’s largest poker sites.

Stephen Kane, Head of Data Centre and Managed Services at Manx Telecom, commented: “The response we saw at ICE emphasised the strength and depth of the Isle of Man’s eGaming proposition, and the Island’s growing reputation as a world class jurisdiction which is trusted by some of the sector’s biggest operators – many of which were represented at ICE again this year.”
Its two Tier 3 designed data centres, and its cloud and disaster recovery solutions, were Manx Telecom’s key focus at ICE which is the gaming sector’s biggest expo. Stephen and his colleagues highlighted Manx Telecom’s range of data centre, dedicated, shared or hybrid managed cloud platforms, disaster recovery solutions, and the latest news about the completion of the second phase of its Tier 3 designed Greenhill Data Centre. Stephen added: “ICE is the ideal opportunity to meet existing and potential clients and to explain the many unique opportunities we offer, both as the Isle of Man’s primary telecommunications provider and also as a supplier of international connectivity solutions to some of the eGaming industry’s largest operators.”

Manx Telecom is hosting provider to the world’s largest poker sites PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, and Europe's largest bookmaker Paddy Power, and has played a key role in the rapid growth of the Isle of Man’s eGaming sector.
