Boasson Hagen takes over at top

Isle of Man cyclist Mark Cavendish has lost his lead in the General Classification at the Tour of Qatar.

That's despite a strong showing in the Individual Time Trial which was the format for stage three.

The Manx Missile finished 7th but was 44 seconds back on Team Dimension Data fellow rider Edvald Boasson Hagen who finished in 13 minutes and 26 seconds.

The Norwegian takes over as the leader of the race.
