Should limit be lowered?

The Department of Infrastructure’s asking people to vote in an online poll about whether the Island should lower its drink-drive limit.

The government’s currently consulting on the proposals which are part of a raft of a huge draft bill covering a variety of issues on Manx roads.

Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says he wants to hear the public’s views on lowering the limit from its current 80 micrograms per 100 millilitres of blood to 50.
